The RCS Team of Experts – Who We Are
Most of RCS’ key team members have been in the mail industry for over seventeen years. Our team is passionate about providing reliable, friendly and prompt service and ensuring our clients feel appreciated, valued, respected and satisfied.
We are experts in managing and distributing Canada mail and parcels, and providing international mail solutions. One thing that differentiates RCS is our philosophy on people and attitude. Our philosophy, themed “iMatter”, is based on the principles that employees matter as first as people, which helps them to be more productive as employees. Our vendors matter because they take care of us, which ultimately helps us to take care of our clients. Our clients matter…their success is what creates our success. At the end of the day, we are human beings – real people that are making a difference people’s lives. Many companies separate work and personal. Although we don’t get too involved in the personal side, we are people and the more we know about each other – what matters most to each other, who we are, and why we’re here, and to practice how we communicate, has ultimately allowed us to be happier as individuals and more productive and successful as business people. Meet our team of experts:
Bob began his career at TNT Mailfast and in 1991, became Canadian Sales Director at World Distribution Services in Elk Grove Village, IL. Recognizing a marketplace need for assistance with Canadian mail distribution, he founded Great White North Distribution Services in 1993, which was recognized as the “26th fastest growing company by Inc. 500”. Great White North was purchased by Deutsche Post in 2000. Bob founded RCS International in 2000, and many of the key players from Great White North also joined RCS.
Bob is a current member and former President of the Detroit chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO). He also founded iMatter, a business focused on vision coaching. Through these services, Bob assists others in pursuit of their entrepreneurial passions while achieving balanced lives. He is also co-author of “The Story of Will” book series. The three-book fable is an easy to read, yet hard-hitting story about realizing what matters most. Bob is founder of iMatter For Kids, a non-profit organization established to help kids realize that they matter.
Patrick Gysel – General Manager
Patrick has over 20 years experience in the distribution and logistics industries, having held positions at UPS, Great White North Distribution Services, Global Mail, and Deutsche Post. He holds a degree from the University of Michigan, along with significant professional expertise in accounting, operations, commercial pricing, sales, customer service, and IT systems design and development.
Kevin graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1984 and began his career in the distribution industry at Foodland Distributors. In 1987, Kevin became Director of Finance for Norquick Distributing Company and Subsidiaries located in Canton, MI. Kevin joined RCS International as Controller in 2009.
Pete Jackson – Business Development Manager
Pete began his career in 1994 at Great White Distribution Services – working his way up through Operations, and then Client Services – while attending the University of Michigan. He served as an Account Service Representative at Deutsche Post, where he was responsible for coordinating jobs from sale through completion. He left Deutsche Post in 2002 to join RCS International, where he currently serves as Business Development Manager.
Donna Kingery – Customer Service Manager
Donna has served in the international distribution industry for over seventeen years. She began as an administrative assistant at TNT, and left to join Great White North Distribution Services in 1995. Donna served at World Color (formerly Quebecor World) as Project Manager for over eight years before joining RCS International as Customer Service Manager.
Steve Klaus – List Services Manager
Steve’s career began in 1993 at Great White Distribution Services, where he served in a variety of roles including mail sorting, shipping and receiving; and eventually managing contract labor. His experience in technology and data management led him to leading the list services division for mail destined to Canada Post. Today, Steve manages all RCS IT functions and is regarded as one of the top list services experts in the industry.
Dana Quesada – Operations Manager
Dana entered the mail logistics industry at Great White Distribution Services in 1996. During her tenure with Great White North, she held positions in shipping and receiving, operations, and customer service, eventually becoming the manager of shipping and receiving, and operations. In 2001, Dana joined Deutsche Post as a Customer Service Representative. Dana joined RCS in 2005, and is now responsible for managing Operations.
Melissa White – Billing Coordinator
Melissa joined the RCS team in 2007 as an admin assistant. With an interest in accounting, she gradually moved up to billing coordinator. She is currently working on obtaining her associates degree in Accounting.
